The Mustang is probably one of the most recognizable classic cars worldwide and with an army of “Pony Car” lovers out there you know this one will get attention too. Starting out with a rust-free Arizona car, the seller of this Mustang for sale states that the car has undergone a “frame-up” restoration and it certainly shows- the fresh “Milano Red” paintjob with “Cloud White” stripes gives the ‘65 a fast but also classy look while the upgraded 17″ B/G Rodworks wheels set the stance off on this classic Muscle Car. Mustang enthusiasts will be pleased to know that this example was a “C Code” vehicle from the factory, meaning it had a V8 under the hood from the day it rolled off the assembly line in San Jose, California. That engine would have been a 289 CID V8 with a 200hp factory rating but in this Restomod the entire powertrain has been upgraded to a 302 CID V8. Power steering, power brakes, an OPL aluminum radiator and 4bbl Edelbrock carburetor all help the motor with performance while dual exhaust makes this Mustang sound as good as it looks. The 3-speed automatic transmission is a new unit according to the seller and shifts smoothly. Hop inside this restored Ford and you’ll be impressed with the quality and comfort of the “Pony” Red and White vinyl interior. A traditional Mustang dash arrangement keeps things authentic and the 3-spoke Cobra steering wheel is a nice touch. A retro-modern stereo system has been installed and speakers have been added in the back to improve sound in the cabin.
